Gain More Knowledge

I know the title may seem, unattractive or irrelevant to you. "Gain More Knowledge? Seriously? I knew this blog would eventually be soon filled with stupid math physics stuff.." That's you, I know when you read the title you were probably like "?" UNLESS, you're Asian. That's ok, though, if you feel that way. I wrote this post to help you, actually (for real), gain more knowledge. So, I'll make this easy for you.

Check out "minutephysics" on YouTube, or go to KhanAcademy.com. These resources will help you understand different subjects quickly. If you want to feel smarter every day, simply check out these websites. First, I will describe what minutephysics and KhanAcademy is.

Minutephysics, a channel on YouTube, makes one-minute to two-minute videos about physics. I really like minutephysics because although his videos may seem a little complicated, he makes it easier to understand by examples we can all relate to.

KhanAcademy is like a talking textbook. Check out KhanAcademy if you don't understand something in your math textbook, and you will better understand that topic quickly. He briefly explains your topic by writing on a digital pen writer and talks about it.

To get a better sense of what I'm talking about, check out this video from minutephysics.

And this one from KhanAcademy..

Upside Down Text

Today, I will teach you guys how to make text upside down. Like this:

˙ǝɔuǝʇuǝs sıɥʇ ƃuıpɐǝɹ ǝɯıʇ ɹnoʎ ɟo spuoɔǝs ʎʇuǝʍʇ pooƃ ɐ pǝʇsɐʍ ʇsnɾ ı

See what I did there?

Follow these steps and you could confuse people just like me.

It's actually pretty simple so if you think it's rocket science...

it's not.

1. http://toolsgeek.com/upsidedown.php    <Better click on that...
2. Type in whatever text you want like "ı ɐɯ ɐn ıdıoʇ"
3. Click "Make it Upside Down!"
4. It's upside down, that's awesome, but now you have to right click on it and click "Copy"
5. Go ahead and paste it wherever you want, maybe leave a comment down below.
(if you don't know how to copy and paste stuff....

..you better figure out.)

Chink in the Armor

WTF!!! Chink in the Armor?!?!?!

ESPN headline writer writes in the headline, "Chink in the Armor!"
Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESEGRwnQW4k
ESPN was smart and fired the writing immediately and suspended the anchor for 30 day. ESPN was smart, I bet if they didn't fire the guy, the ch*nks would boycott ESPN.

Want to learn more about this headline?

Post your own killcams that you think are extra    ordinary, not extrordinary. Show them off. The winner for this school year will get a king size chocolate. There has to be at least 10 people competing for the prize to be INCOMING. If not 10, just post them up.

Jeremy Lin- "Linsanity!"

I don't know if you guys have heard about this news, but do you know who the best basketball player is right now? No, not Kobe Bryant, no not Kevin Durant, and no not Lebron James.. Well, who is it then?

New York Knicks- Jeremy Lin
Chinese basketball player, JEREMY LIN! Woah, you must be thinking, an asian? Yes, you got it, NY Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has been tearing it up on the court this past week. He crushed the Wizards, and crushed the Lakers. Now, if you don't know too much about basketball, you probably know who Kobe Bryant or Lebron James is.. BUT, you probably don't know who Jeremy Lin is.. Well, this guy (of Taiwanese or Chinese descent) went from bench-warmer to ESPN headliner in just one week. He graduated from Harvard.. yes Harvard and has been on ESPN every other 10 seconds. Yes, I may be exaggerating, but trust me, go on espn.go.com or turn on your TV and try finding him.

When I first heard this astonishing news I was like "WOAH! YEAH!" Do you know why? We finally have another Asian sports player making us Asians look good. Remember Yao Ming, I was so sad when he retired.. But dang, J Lin has definitely raised the bar. Here's a video to prove my whole two-paragraph exaggeration on this wonderful guy.

How We Do

Asians are...Asians (If you don't think so, please tell me why):

Duh Hullo,

To begin, I would like to tell you what our blog is about, or what its purpose is. Well, my friend (Lawson) and I decided to find a way to express our feelings about being a typical Asian American. Me being Filipino and Lawson being Chinese, we could tell you numerous things about the culture of China and the Philippines. But forget about that, we will be posting cool stuff we find and have that we decide is chill, interesting, or you know.........   ......I don't know.....  I know you may be thinking "Man, why I am I reading this.. I have nothing better to do but look at this weird blog." Yes, I know all of you must be thinking that.

To continue, my friend Lawson and I will also be posting funny, cool stuff we find on the Internet.

Like this cute Asian baby;

Do you see where I'm headed at or do I have to post another picture? Well, you get the point.. Anyways, thanks for even stopping by at this blog. I'm surprised you would even look at this blog. While you're here could you please do us a favor and follow this blog through Google Friend Connect?

With Love and Rice,

Luke and Lawson
